My take on the Arizona Immigration Law

You have asked for me to share my thoughts about the Arizona immigration law. Let me first state that I have read the first and second version of the bill as soon as it was published. I have not read the Constitution of Arizona and cannot make comment on that point. My wife is Hispanic, and we have relatives who have been tortured and murdered in Mexico, so I have firsthand knowledge on this matter and understand all sides better than most.

Let me give you my bottom line first. We need to be very careful not to dismantle the rights each state has based on our Constitution. If this new Arizona law is constitutional, and it appears to be, then they have the right to implement laws based on the wishes of the people of Arizona. When you stick with what is constitutional, it makes everything much clearer. People need to READ the law before making incorrect assumptions. Just because you hear something on TV or radio, does not mean it is accurate. Read it for yourself; it’s only 17 pages.

Now, let me tell you what the real problem is.

Considering that Arizona is an individual state that needs to solve their own problems, as a state we must not lose sight of who the real enemy is. That enemy is one of the most destructive forces that has faced our Constitution since the Civil War.

That enemy is Marxism.

We are at war with the supporters of communism whether we like it or not. I am a U.S. Veteran of the cold war and a student of history and today we are facing the Khrushchev rant of “We will take you from within.” They have successfully divided us from the inside and have isolated the Republican Party and the old version of the Democrat party as their objective and their target for elimination. Both parties have been successfully divided up and compartmentalized in a fashion unrecognizable from the 50’s version of each one. I say that to make a point because Arizona is currently involved in this war whether they realize it or not.

They are called many names to keep us off balance. Buck Compton told me something very interesting recently. He is a retired California Court of Appeals Judge who served as lead prosecutor in Sirhan Sirhan’s trial for the murder of Robert F. Kennedy, and is a member of the 101st Airborne Division Easy Company in which Buck was portrayed in the movie, Band of Brothers. Buck said they call themselves progressives or collectives, but essential they have a communist mindset.

That is something I understand very well as a candidate and I teach this concept as much as I can during my many campaign stops. Marxists will stop at nothing to divide us up because an enemy divided is easily conquered. How can you recognize a Marxist? Well, they are the current agitators within the Hispanic community stirring everyone up and encouraging gullible liberals to begin a multilevel and state boycott to enflame the issue. Remember this is election season and the liberal, progressive movement knows they must do whatever it takes to disconnect the remaining Hispanic vote from the Republican Party. Based on the current mood of the country, these particular liberals are running scared and will stop at nothing to accomplish their goal. I realize the situation is delicate and could perceivably be the waterloo of either party if the political chess game is not played correctly. Make no mistake; this game they play is at the expense of the precious Hispanic community.

The war we face as a fragile republic is currently happening before our eyes on many fronts. They have successfully infiltrated the Black community, the young generation via the Dept of Education, and now the Hispanic community. We must also not forget the efforts within the Muslim community worldwide which I feel is also being used as a tool to keep the Free states and countries off balance using our own freedoms against us (ACLU). So, to make a long story short, the issues in Arizona are a direct result of the inability of the Federal government to resolve our immigration problems and this is an example of a state needing to go into crisis management mode. The fact is Arizona is within due bounds to solve their own problems and the framers of our Constitution, per Article 1, Section 8, Verse 4 clearly states that the Federal government (Congress) shall regulate naturalization only and (per Article III, Section 2) no court decision, law, or act circumvent the constitution.

Our founding fathers were truly brilliant visionaries and they truly earn the title THE FOUNDING FATHERS.

NATIONAL DEFENSE BUDGET

One of the most important functions of government is to see to the protection of the nation. To that extent, if elected to the Senate, I will make certain our military is always fully funded to guarantee our continued strength and security.
However, one political tactic Congress uses to make it appear it’s looking out for the American people is to submit budgets that include deep cuts.
So, when debating the budget of the Defense Department Congress sometimes summarily rejects critical items on the grounds they are too expensive or unneeded. Yet, a fact of life is that combat systems are constantly being inspected for their functionality and some necessarily require improvements or retrofitting in anticipation of future engagements.
To accommodate those situations, tax dollars for research and development in Defense budgets have time and again been used to start projects for political reasons only to have them terminated for lack of funding. In such situations billions of dollars were wasted for work that had already been done. The country cannot afford such a wasteful spending habit so I would see it as my duty to rigorously review all budgets for the military to assure the country that truly innovative technology required in the different categories of our defense systems are not being approved just to be cut.
Young men and women who have committed themselves to protecting and defending the United States against any enemy make up the military. They deserve to be supplied with the best materials and equipment the country can produce and that said we simply cannot underfund them in the task they have voluntarily accepted. The War on Terror is just another fight we have to and will win but we have to do our part by keeping the budget for our military fully funded.

Senator Murray's camp shocked: Dr. Sean Salazar was within 12 points of Murray.

Lately, there have been controversial issues about who will be the perfect candidate for the Republican Party to beat Sen. Patty Murray during the Washington State Senate election in November 2010. There was an article four weeks ago in the Seattle Times written by Joni Balter in which she only mentioned two candidates -even though there are five- because according to an e-mail response to a member of Dr. Sean Salazar's team, she wanted to mention someone with some name familiarity to get over the considerable fundraising hump.

However, yesterday there was a note in an article from Red Country by Bob Clark (7th paragraph) subtitled Patty Murray Camp In Shock. This note mentioned that “during a latest poll taken last week by Sen. Murray's campaign staff, they found out that Dr. Sean Salazar was within 12 points of Murray.” The message ends noting that “the biggest problem for Murray is that Dr. Salazar is an unknown person who has come out of nowhere to challenge her.”

The question is how come Dr. Sean Salazar is so closed to Sen. Murray instead of the two well known candidates as put by Ms. Balter from the Seattle Times? Is it possible that again "the media" is trying to manipulate the way that people vote? Remember that media can add-up to someone's popularity and has the ability to create a different reality for everyone.

Just because someone has some name recognition that does not makes them good contestants. We are not surprised that Dr. Sean Salazar is so closed to Sen. Murray. He started his campaign last year and he did not do it using the media. He has gone to almost every city in Washington State, has talked directly to people and his only weapon has been: The Constitution of the United States. His popularity is not a fabricated one by the media, but a true one that comes from hard work!

The controversy among media about who will be the "one" to take the senate seat away from Sen. Murray will continue as the New Year arrives, but we the People for Sean will keep the facts straight every time the media wants to ruin it for the people of Washington State.

Patty Murray's Bill Gets Attacked by Readers

Today Patty Murray’s introduction bill gets attacked by readers of The News Tribune as The News Tribune headline states “Murray's $30 billion bill could help state community banks” and “ECONOMY: Murray’s $30 billion bill aims to lift troubled community banks.”

This is another bill to help banks again. It seems like if you are so irresponsible to provide “bad loans” (term stated in The News Tribune) then you get compensated by the government. Why would the government want to bail out these banks?

This is the justification that Senator Patty Murray is giving in The News Tribune:

“Small businesses who have always paid their bills can’t get a line of credit,” “It’s the little restaurant down the street that closes or the flower shop that has been there for years.”

And someone may think this is the right thing to do, bail the banks, so that small businesses don’t close, right? Wrong, because the ONLY reason these small businesses can not pay their loans or are finding a negative balance in their balance sheets is because people like you and me, are not spending any money in these businesses. Why? Because we have no jobs, or are afraid to lose our jobs! People don’t want to spend money in flowers or restaurants or even to fix their cars, because we cannot afford it!

Why didn’t Patty Murray introduce a bill to help Boeing to stay in Washington State?

Our current government needs to come out with a legislation of investing billions of dollars to create jobs, then we will start spending and these businesses won’t have to close; they will start having revenue. Small businesses can get a loan, but if people don’t buy from them, they have to continue asking for loans; loans that at some point they won’t be able to pay, then what? Another bail out for the banks so that they continue lending money until Washington States goes bankrupt?

One of the reasons why “we the people” are supporting Dr. Sean Salazar to be the next U.S. Senator for Washington State is because he knows and understands the real problem. He knows that we “the people” need the real bail out, how? By investing in creating jobs for us, so that the economy starts healing. If we have jobs, we will have money to spend!

Dr. Sean Salazar acknowledges that there are good intentions behind this madness, but good intentions will not fix it. We need real solutions, we need solutions for the people, and we need representatives in our government that will represent the best interest for us the people.

An unlikely victim

If I asked someone to name an innovation that came out of a socialist country or a country where businesses are not encouraged to thrive it would be hard to answer. The answer is very little, if any ground breaking ideas come out of those countries. They tend to freeload off of our innovations such as virtually every medical and technological breakthrough. It was just reported by CNN that patent filings fell for the first time in 13 years. That indicates that the Democratic Party is winning. Historically socialism kills innovation and it would be a sad day if our Democratic party chalks up its latest victim-American Innovation.
China did something rather odd when they took over Hong Kong. The government took a long look at how successful Hong Kong was and decided when they took over they would just get out of the way of the people and let them innovate away. Now just a few years later the Chinese are leading the world in virtually every field. Although I do have serious issue with human rights and communist light issues there but surprisingly taxes are lower in China than here, imagine that? It just goes to show that if people are left alone they can do amazing things.

COMMAND AND CONQUER

The current administration is assaulting the soundest economy on Earth on multiple fronts. From the North and Eastern fronts we have Cap and Trade, and the United Nations pushing the largest tax increase in history and a guaranteed business killer. On the Western Front we have the EPA assaulting and shutting down farms and killing jobs without congressional approval. On the southern front we have the relentless Health Care attack on one sixth of our economy and a guaranteed failure and job killer.
So far, WE THE PEOPLE are holding the lines on all fronts. We must remain firm in our convictions and stand behind the CONSTITUTION as it will guide us through this war. We must never surrender and beat the socialist freedom killers at their own game. 10th Amendment

For the record I am a big tenth amendment supporter. For many years we have allowed our politicians to bend the constitution to a point where it is often unrecognizable. If that wasn't bad enough our citizens are sometimes unaware of this fact because constitutional principals are often treated as a simple footnote in our Federally regulated public schools. When it comes to the tenth amendment the founding fathers felt strongly about the states ability to make regional decisions on their own and not being subjected by powers from a distant capital. This is a concept that I absolutely agree on. Just a casual review of the violations of the tenth amendment shows that the founding fathers were more than correct in their decision. Allow me to start with the Environmental Protection Agency. During my campaign I have highlighted the fact that the EPA has evolved into a legislative branch of the United Nations. It is no longer the simple agency that focused on cleaning up our lakes, air, and war time toxic dumps. It has now evolved into this massive power that can sweep in and take your property if a wild rare patch of grass is discovered and deemed endangered. This is no joke. The EPA teaming up with the endangered species act shut down the San Joaquin valley in California due to a small two inch fish that was deemed endangered. Thousands of people were immediately unemployed and hundreds of square miles of crops died. The People were powerless in this decision and it was a clear violation of the tenth amendment. Another example is the founding of the Department of Education. In my opinion this department is a 100% failure. Every since it opened its doors, education standards have dropped to a despicable level when compared to the decades before its founding. Education should be a local state issue not a federal issue. To make a long story short the Federal government has no business as per the tenth amendment to be involved in delegating education, energy, environmental issues, and a host of others to the individual states.
My pledge to the people of Washington and to this country is that I will review every single Federal regulation, department, plan, or what ever they call it and if it is not deemed constitutionally sound I will do whatever I can to eliminate it. Thank you.

What is he to do? He won the Nobel Prize based on global warming, but the problem is that the entire concept was based on lies. Let’s be honest, we all want to take care of our planet and keep it clean and pollution free. We are heading in that direction. Our air here is 30% cleaner than it was in the 1970’s, so we are actually doing a good job.
Mr. Algore, we know that your global warming event for December 12th in Denmark has been cancelled with no reason given. I would suggest that you come clean right away and explain how you made the honest mistake. If nothing else you have highlighted the mood for taking care of our planet which I will support you 100% to save face. Remember we are a global family and we should all work together to take of our planet.

A SET UP TO FAIL

President Obama delivered a message at West Point about a 30,000 surge in troops in Afghanistan. Almost one year after our troops hit the ground they will begin the exodus. The only message the Taliban and Afghan rebels received was that, ‘Allah is patient your prayers will be answered soon.’ Simply lay low for a year or so and you will regain the initiative. The message to U.S. troops is ‘why risk your lives for a mission that the president has written off.’ I believe that this is a dangerous way to approach this situation. Why Mr. President did you reassure the Taliban that we’ve already pre-planned a surrender date. What’s the point? Even if your intention was to secretly win this war at all costs and prepare the Afghan security forces to take over. Please tell us that you didn’t just do this to tell the American public that you gave the Generals what they wanted. Please tell us that once the troops leave and we fail that you will not blame it on the generals.

AM I DANGEROUS NOW?

I was once accused by a liberal blogger that I was too dangerous to be in the senate due to a few strong opinions I have about removing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from power. I supported the student uprising and suggested that the west does the same. Now Ahmedinejad states that they will begin building ten new sites to enrich uranium thus greatly enhancing their nuclear weapons program with in two months. Allow me to be clear about this. This man is DANGEROUS and can threaten the global security of the planet. Allow me to be even clearer. This man can do as much DAMAGE by himself as all of world war two combined. Is there any part of that statement that liberal bloggers do not understand?

AS A NAVY VET;

I am shocked dismayed and horrified how our military commandos are being treated. The NAVY SEAL’s captured Ahmed Hashim Abed during operation Amber in 04 and are being charged for giving him a fat lip. He was behind the brutal murder of four black water security men in Iraq. The commandos most likely had to hunt this man down risking their own lives following orders and now have to retain lawyers to defend themselves. I say NO WAY will they be charged. I say drop all charges now and find that idiot liberal Judge that approved this charade to go through. I say send him to Afghanistan and spend some time with our troops. Then send him to Pakistan and experience some quality time with their security forces so he can be educated as to exactly what we are dealing with. I am quite sure that he or she will change their mind.

Very bad news for Washington State... Democrats get the blame in the comment section!

According to a this article published in The News Tribune on November 20, 2009, it is expected that the state budget shortfall grows and as a result legislators are considering to increase taxes to bridge the existing gap of $2.7 billion. As a result victor Moore currents Washington State budget Director said according to this article that the latest news makes it more difficult to close the budget gap and that spending cuts would be deep and “extremely ugly.”

The picture portrayed in this article about the problems that Washington State is facing is very clear, but it becomes even more in the comment section after the article where people blame the democrats for the excessive spending, some even commented on Washington State going "socialist".

It is true that spending is out of hand currently, but not all hopes are lost... We have one change to change this ugly picture coming up in November 2010. We need to vote for Dr. Sean Salazar, as voting for him means a vote for Fiscal Responsibility. Don't wait until it is too late... Take action now!

An additional $760 million in hoped-for state revenue evaporated in the latest economic forecast, and lawmakers began talking up the pros and cons of tax increases to help plug a budget shortfall now estimated at $2.7 billion.

Gov. Chris Gregoire’s budget director, Victor Moore, said the latest news makes it more difficult to close the budget gap and that spending cuts would be deep and “extremely ugly.”

“I said last time (that) everything is on the table. I think I need a bigger table now,” Moore said.

Majority Democrats including Sen. Rodney Tom of Medina gave indications that they are more willing now to look at tax increases when they return to Olympia on Jan. 11 for a 60-day session. Gregoire has said she would listen to tax proposals, but Republicans quickly warned that taxes could backfire by harming businesses at a time when jobs are desperately needed.

Sen. Joe Zarelli of Ridgefield called tax increases a gamble and again called on lawmakers to convene early in December to begin looking for ways to deliver state services less expensively.

State revenue forecaster Arun Raha said in his quarterly report to the Economic and Revenue Forecast Council that a slow-to-recover economy will generate $760 million less in state revenue than he predicted just two months ago. Read more...

Mr. Reese's article is a clear proof that our politicians have over the decisions that affect our country. We elect them thinking that they will represent our best interests, after all that is why vote for them in the first place. However, we forget that politicians belong to a party that usually have their own agenda which is not the best interest of the people, but for their political power. During elections our country is divided usually in two major groups: Democrats and Republicans. Today is not about blaming that democrat or that republican, it is about the leaders that suppose to represent the bests interests of the us, the people.

Were they able to carry on with their promises during their campaign? Did they changed their minds? and if they did, what was the reason? Let us think... the party's agenda? My be, but today we need a candidate whose only purpose is to represent us, the people, not the best interest of a corporation. We need an independent candidate that believes on what our founding fathers left for us in a wonderful document call "The Constitution of the United States of America".

The preliminary healthcare bill passed through the Senate tonight. Even after 52% of the American people opposed it, and 14% were not sure about it, this government takeover is on its way. We all know this bill went through due to bribes and backdoor deals. This is not what the American people wanted. Although we knew reform was a must, creating more debt is not the right way to solve the problem. Please don’t surrender, do not be discouraged, and do not give up hope. We will reverse this in 2012. Conservative victories in 2010 and 2012 will ensure that this government takeover stops.

If they are serious about the ecosystem being destroyed then they cannot wait. What are they really waiting on? We are not waiting on health care legislation here. The Dem’s must counterbalance the tea party movement and the unpopular health care, and cap and trade bill with AMNESTY. Here’s the truth. No citizen will be able to opt out of the Public option whether you are an employer or an employee. It is all a lie and an illusion. You are going to pay for it like it or not. No matter what the government says about how much this program will cost, you can always bet that that figure will be at least 500% off target and that is a fact based on history.

One of the main reasons the progressive left uses to justify government run healthcare is our infant mortality rates. Here are some basic facts.
1) Forty percent of all infant deaths occur in the first 24 hours of life.
2) In the United States, all infants who show signs of life at birth (take a breath, move voluntarily, have a heartbeat) are considered alive.
3) If a child in Hong Kong or Japan is born alive but dies within the first 24 hours of birth, he or she is reported as a “miscarriage” and does not affect the country’s reported infant mortality rates.
4) The length of pregnancy considered “normal” is 37-41 weeks. In Belgium and France — in fact, in most European Union countries — any baby born before 26 weeks gestation is not considered alive and therefore does not “count” against reported infant mortality rates.

If these basic facts are inputed into the formula then our infant mortality rate is the best in the world...!

First of all the Republican Party was founded on championing the rights of black Americans. Second, the Republican Party after they won the house and senate and the Presidency sponsored and pushed through the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments which were to free the slaves, give freed slaves citizenship, and then voting rights. It’s also interesting to note that the Democrats fought these amendments viciously even beating the GOP senators. Also, does Ms. Garofalo know that it was the Republican Party that wrote and pushed through every civil rights bill on the books? Hmmm?

In the UK carbon rationing is being put through a trial run. Citizens will be required to submit a quarterly carbon use report and will be fined when they exceed their personal carbon ration …If we allow the CAP and TRADE regulations here we too will be subjected to this carbon rationing scheme. This could be as simple as one extra trip to the gym or the grocery store…
